Our Play Space in the store's basement is open to all for shopping and play during store hours. Please consult our calendar for official store events. If no store-organized event has already been planned for the space, we invite our customers to rent the space for private events. Please email [email protected] to book your event!

Code of Conduct

At Librairie Crossover Comics, we are dedicated to creating a respectful and welcoming space. We are committed to providing a harassment-free experience for all our staff and clientele, regardless of gender, gender identity + expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, age, language, body size, race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, socioeconomic standing, or otherwise. In our store, play space, and in any space where we are the host (in-person and online), we aim to follow and enforce the Code of Conduct rules, as noted below:

  • No hate speech or behaviour: eg. sexism, racism, homophobia, transphobia, etc.
  • No foul language: eg. insults, profanities, aggression, excessive sexual language, etc, especially in the company of minors.
  • Keep our space clean: eg. clean up after yourselves in the space you use, report accidents and incidents to staff, do not leave trash or perform vandalism, etc.
  • Practice proper hygiene: eg. wash and deodorize regularly, take measures to not spread germs and illness, etc.
  • No poor sportsmanship: eg. disruptive shouting, sore losing, excessive or aggressive boasting, etc.

If you have witnessed violations of our code or would like to report questionable situations or behaviour, please do so to any Crossover staff or management. Please speak on site to any staff in charge, send us an email, or message us via any of our social media channels (Instagram, Discord, or Facebook). We will address your reports with high priority. All reports, anonymous or otherwise, will be investigated, discussed, and reviewed by staff and management before action is taken. Any actions and cases will not be discussed publicly.

Offenders will be fairly warned, though continuing violations may lead to expulsion from our spaces (in-person and online). In the case of expulsion from a paid event, no refund will be awarded. Crossover Comics staff and management retain the right to take any actions necessary to redress the situation, and return the environment to reasonable comfort and safety.

Please direct any questions about this policy to [email protected]

A big shoutout to Pixelles, whose Safer Spaces Policy greatly inspired this one.
